I’m an unpublished writer. I gave up my career in 2001, a month before 9/11, and have been writing, going to conferences and classes, and trying to be as good a writer as I can ever since. Sometimes I think I should have taken up something more stable and less frustrating...like acting. Along the way I've collected some information that might be helpful to others, and I thought I'd share it through this website.

• Literary journals that, if you got a story published, would give a writer visibility
• Writing courses and conferences that a writer who wanted to improve his/her writing might find useful
• Proven manuscript assessment services who can give you an objective opinion on your work.

All of these tables are designed for you (the visitor) to add your input. Visit any of the sections and you’ll see what I mean. I also encourage you to tell me if I’ve left someone or something off a list, or if I’ve gotten something wrong. There are “contact me” tags all over this website for that purpose.
